Ripley
This is Ripley, the basement cat. We rescued her from our neighbor's
flower bed on November 1, 2003. We tried integrating her with the
other two cats, but Ripley was mean to the other two, so now she's
segregated to the basement. The basement has carpet and furniture, so
it's like just another part of the house. But she is lonely.
I named her Ripley from Sigorney Weaver's character
from the Alien films. It has been an unfortunately apt choice. Given
her personality. She's had a hard life, and she deals with it by
being very defensive.
Ripley is mostly white, with calico markings on her head, hindquarters
and tail. She has very pretty green eyes, which are hard to get a
photograph of. This is the best one so far.
