The movers are here, packing the last of our stuff and loading the truck. There were three 18-wheelers parked on the street this morning (only one is for the stuff from our house). I took a panorama from the front yard which I'll post when I'm less busy.
This will be the last blog post from Champaign-banana. After this post, I unplug the cable modem and we're off the air until the DSL is set up at the new house, hopefully by Friday if not before.
With luck, flying (at least a little) by next week sometime.
Champaign/Urbana/Savoy Illinois is a really really lovely place to live. I've very much enjoyed it here. I will miss the flatlands and the cornfields.
Signing off from the birth place of HAL and Netscape.
I am blogging from my phone. Definately a sign of the apocolypse.
Another note: if you have a wonderful person in your life, HANG ON TO THEM. I married mine--and that has made all the difference.
