We just got back from Dragoncon. My second time there, and the first time for some friends that went with us.
Very cool. They added a fourth hotel this year and the middle of the three main hotels wasn't being renovated like it was last year, so things were slightly more spread out and slightly less crowded.
Super-neato things I attended: - two panels by cast of the new BattleStar Galactica - Talked with Pete Abrams - met Joel Hogson, Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff of MST3K, and saw a panel they did (by the way, apparently there's a 25th anniversary edition DVD set coming out in September) - saw a panel by Sean Astin - saw The Last Unicorn with commentary by its author, Peter S. Beagle
I also took lots of photos of costumes. I'll try to post some soon.
